Chapter 1.

I woke up to the sound of my mom.
"Skye, get out of your bed, you promised me to clean the kitchen!"
I got right up and got changed. I also brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and washed my face.
"Coming."

I go down stairs with a mop and apron, and watch my mom leave. I tie my long, brown hair back, with my side bangs still hanging down. I start moping here and there.
"Ouch!" I yelled as I tripped on this... this... old dusty book?
I start to open it, begining to read the title.
"Sarah Perry's Diary!"
I open the book, carefully, and read the first five words.



Ok, maybe I read more than 5.. but still.
I laughed at the word, 'ghostatholigist'. I thought it was silly. I turned the next page, but before I could, I heard a car pull up my drive way. I quickly cleaned up one last spot, untied my hair, took of my apron, and put that and my mop away. I also ran upstairs and put this diary away, safely. I heard my mom come in.
"All cleaned up, mom." I smiled.
"Good job."
Mmmhmm... I'll be upstairs," I said. "Doing... my, homework."
"Alright."
I really am nt going to do my homework. I finished it in school. But what I was going to do, was read more. More of that girl's diary.

I opened it, turned the page, and I read on.


Cool! the day I am going on a train trip, also... 2 months away. Strange!
I closed they book and felt like sleeping, even though it was only 1:00pm. I don't care.

Chapter 2.

I wake up at 6:00am, surprisingly. The time I have to get ready for school. Ug. I hate school. Its so... everything. Everyone has friends. Everyone wears abercrombie. Everybody trips me. I sit at the table at lunch alone, yes.
Before I go to school I take the book out and read one more entry.
First I just relized, that she changed her handwriting, and made it smaller.
And second, I realized that this book, is haunting me...



How did she not write in a long time? Its only been a night! A night isn't more than a month! this is impossible!
And then I realize, that I am not in my room,?

I realized that I woke up, in the hospital.
"Where am I?!" I asked.
"Calm down," a nurse said. "Your mom couldn't wake you up for a LONG LONG time. She sent you to us. We got nothing. At least you are awaken. Now, eat your chicken noodle soup."
"Alright? Um.. alright." I said, calming down.
Don't know what happened to me? When I was a kid, I thought doctors and nurses could solve anything. But, no?
I almost fell asleep, again, but my mom and another nurse came. Just what I needed, I did not feel like talking!
"What." I said, in a low voice.
"Skye! Im so happy you are awake." My mom said, then smiled.
"Now, we JUST saw you almost close your eyes. Do not do that. We don't you to fall asleep again." The other nurse said.
"Yep, we don't want you to miss the train next wekk!" My mom replied.
Oh, I completely forgot about the diary and everything! Where did I leave it! I hope my mom kicked it under my bed, with her large feet. I bet she did.
"Mom," I said. "When are we going home?"
"Oh, tomarrow, or today!"
"TODAY!"
"Why.."
"I don't... know, I just... need to catch up on homework! You know me, uh, slow! Heh.."

Wow. Now I am tired. Bad... I REALLY want to go home.
